Karen Stinson, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduated from Old Dominion University with her physical therapy degree, and achieved her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Aracadia University in Glenside, PA in 2012. Karen has achieved success in the treatment of the varied patient problems seen in the out-patient physical therapy population. Karen has past experience in home care physical therapy, in-patient rehabilitation, and acute care. She has been employed in the out patient setting for 15 years. She is skilled and experienced in the rehabilitation of varied musculoskeletal and post-operative conditions, such as spinal dysfunctions, sports related injury, joint injuries, vestibular conditions, and geriatrics. Karen is certified to use the dry needling technique to manage patients with myofascial pain and other musculoskeletal conditions. It is Karen’s goal to lead patients to the best possible quality of life by incorporating a sound evident-based approach to care with patient education. Living in Harrisonburg, Karen enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with family.
