Jonathan Cole, PT, DPT, Clinic Director
Dr. Cole is a North Carolina native, earning his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from UNC-Wilmington in 2008 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 2011. Dr. Cole is published in the Journal of Applied Biomechanics for his pioneering research in lower extremity joint power production during accelerated and decelerated running compared to steady state running.
Dr. Cole specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, is certified in dry needling through Myopain Seminars®, and is a practitioner of Fascial Manipulation-Stecco® Method. He had a student clinical internship with Appalachian Physical Therapy while studying at ECU and is now Clinic Director of the Pinehurst office with his dog, Shiloh.
Dr. Cole and his wife, Felicity, met while working together at Appalachian Physical Therapy and now enjoy their lives together close to family. Outside of work, Dr. Cole enjoys game strategy, bowling, learning about different types of exercise, and relaxing with his dogs.
