Jennie Grove

Jennie Grove, PT, DPT

Dr. Grove graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation she earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania in February 2010. After graduation, Jennie spent two years in rural Jamaica providing pro-bono physical therapy services and community development activities to the under-served residents. Upon returning to the U.S. in 2012, she moved to Virginia and has served as a home health and outpatient physical therapist working with the geriatric population in the Shenandoah Valley. She continued her work abroad leading and participating in short-term mission trips to Guatemala and Haiti. She believes in promoting overall health and fitness across the age spectrum, and has a special interest in Parkinson’s disease.

She is certified in both LSVT BIG® and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!Moves®) treatment methodologies to assist in best empowering individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. Jennie and her husband currently reside in Rockingham County with their son. Originally from Ruch, Oregon, Jennie enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and outdoor recreation.
